At Advanced Materials, we believe that material science is going to be an important catalyst in solving our country’s growth & development ambitions. As a company, we focus on new fibres, new technology, and new products to solve the problems of infrastructure, healthcare, energy, and industrial applications.

    Highlights

    • Technology: Our technological capabilities include Speciality fabric processing, stretch bonding, coating, lamination, speciality garment manufacturing amongst many others.
    • Partnership: Through our technical collaborations, licenses and joint venture, we are able to source the very best technologies. As an example, we have an exclusive license from Du Pont to manufacturer NOMEX branded fabrics and garments in India. Our joint venture with Preiss Daimler Group, Germany manufactures glass fibre fabrics. We collaborate with OG Corporation, Japan, to manufacture high quality Nonwoven fabrics using needle-punch technology for Bag-house Filteration, Artificial leather, Geo-textiles, Electrical insulation and Automotive headliners.
    • Innovation: We have a dedicated group of scientists, engineers and technologists that are engaged in constantly developing newer applications for our advanced materials. We have filed for 8 patents in the last 8 months which are in the field of protective wear, wearable work wear and composites.

    Human protection

    Our Human Protection business manufactures a range of specialized clothing and accessories that protect our factory workers, fire-fighters, construction crew, soldiers, and healthcare & security personnel from the harsh operating environments that their jobs entail.

    Filtration and conveyor belting

    Our material handling solutions ease in-plant movement, baggage handling and other industrial applications. We also offer turnkey solutions that help minimize the environmental impact from industrial development through a range of hot-gas and liquid filtration products.

    Automotive and mass transportation

    Automotive product range includes interiors and seating solutions, which we offer through.

    Building and construction

    Our innovations in Building and Construction sector focus on using newer materials such as composites and coated fabrics to provide solutions that are longer lasting, lighter weight, quick to implement and need lesser on-site labour.
